Iran Ferrosilice Co was founded on December 7, 1982, with the goal of advancing and enhancing the country’s industrial sector. Initially based in Tehran, the company later relocated its headquarters to Semnan city. Registered under number 2044, it operated as a “private joint stock” entity.

Establishing a factory spanning 50 hectares in Semnan city, Iran Ferrosilice Company became Iran’s pioneering producer of Ferrosilicon. Using an electric arc furnace procured from the Mannesmann DEMAG factory in Germany, the company achieved a daily production capacity exceeding 80 tons, ranking among the world’s top producers.
